Emma Curvin is a Nashville native originally growing up in Franklin, TN. At the age of 8, she started taking violin lessons from Dana Meyer in Franklin. After many years of practicing, she went on to tour Europe at the age of 13 with her violin group, Music City Strings. Emma performed in castles and venues all around England, Scotland, France and Spain. Notably, she performed at Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline, Scotland. After returning from Europe, she started high school while being active in her church orchestra at Brentwood Baptist. She was then invited to play at the Ryman Auditorium with Amy Grant and Vince Gill for their Christmas Show for 3 consecutive years. In the summer of her sophomore year, she was invited to play in the Tokens Show at the Ryman with The Time Jumpers.
During her senior year, she began experimenting with fiddle, jazz, and contemporary violin playing. She started accepting invitations to play in festivals, weddings, fairs, etc. She is now a student at Belmont University pursuing a B.A. of Music. While being a student at Belmont, she has recorded tracks for multiple up and coming artists. Now, she is focusing on expanding her services into the Nashville community—whether it’s for corporate events, weddings, or recording sessions.
